INFLEXION INTERACTIVE WINS SECOND WEBBY AWARDS HONOR FOR WEB-ASSOCIATIONS (TKTS AND TDF.ORG)

HOBOKEN, NJ, USA — Tuesday, June 2, 2014 — The 18th Annual Webby Awards recognizes Inflexion Interactive as an Official Webby Awards Honoree in the Web-Associations category for website design of Theatre Development Fund (TDF), a non-profit corporation dedicated to assisting the theatre industry in NYC, widely recognized by its red-and-white TKTS ticket booths in Time Square. This is the second Webby Awards honor for the digital marketing agency.

Named the “Internet’s highest honor” by the NY Times, The Webby Awards, hosted by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the top award honoring excellence on the Web. The IADAS, which nominates and selects Webby Awards Winners, is comprised of industry experts, including media mogul Arianna Huffington, Skype CEO Tony Bates, Mozilla CEO Mitchell Baker, Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom and others.

Webby-graphic“The 2014 Webby Awards acknowledges our continuing dedication to creating the best website designs,” says Scott Delea, Managing Partner of Inflexion Interactive. “Recognition for website design affirms our commitment to producing exceptional web presence.”

TKTS and the Theatre Development Fund’s new website design shares this honor with Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, National Cable & Telecommunications Association, International CES Website, Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), Solar Energies Industries Association, Global Governance Monitor: Armed Conflict and Television Academy.

“This new website gives stakeholders and NYC audiences more ways to engage local theatre,” says David LeShay, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Theatre Development Fund. “It’s helped us to quickly and easily talk about exciting new theatre projects happening now throughout our city.”

Theatre Development Fund’s website redesign included a design and development for a robust, flexible and dynamic website, featuring a .Net-based content management system (CMS). Both SEO and branding for social networking accompanied the redesign.

“Honorees like Inflexion Interactive are setting the standard for innovation and creativity in website design,” said David-Michel Davies, Executive Director of The Webby Awards. “It is quite an achievement to be selected for the second time in two years for the best in website design.”
