The college has always enjoyed an excellent reputation in its community as a major center of higher education for full and part-time students who are looking for an affordable and value rich means of attending college or training for their future careers. However, the college website became outdated, clunky, and very much in need of an upgrade. The Inflexion team was called upon to build a web redesign strategy to upgrade the website to a modern, mobile and prospective student focus.
An Enterprise Level UpgradeSupplying the college with a game plan for this new digital experience was the first priority. Raritan Valley’s website was nearly a decade old, featuring an antiquated Ektron Content Management System (CMS) solution. While replacing this CMS with our choice, which was Drupal, Inflexion began planning to simplify the overall website with a series of user experience (UX) improvements. These included collapsing many thousands of pages of overlapping and frequently redundant content down to a much more user-friendly approach. The Inflexion team integrated design and UX to develop a winning navigation-from thousands of pages to hundreds.
The Creation Of A Unified Logo And Brand For A NJ Community CollegeRaritan Valley Community College had been in need of a unified logo and an updated brand story. It was here that Inflexion stepped in to ensure that these needs were met. The company worked closely with RVCC's in-house web design team to create a new logo for the college that would reflect its NJ roots as well as its overall mission and purpose.
