Get to Know Our Ever-Biking, Always Creating, Left-Brain/Right-Brain, Digital Project Manager

This is Alex. He loves being in front of a camera, yoga, biking…and he’s a pretty kick-a*s digital project manager. So what does this photogenic digital marketing mastermind have to say about life and working at Inflexion? Well…read on.

There’s a lot of talk about Inflexion Interactive recognizing greatness. What is greatness and what does it mean to you?
Being aware. Paying attention to the needs of your fellow man, your planet, your community and leading people to be their best, in full. Being a positive example.

Alex Montoya Digital Project ManagerIf you had all the time and money in the world, what you would do?
I will always spend my time helping people grow their businesses, no matter what. I am very open as long as I see value in the project and know that the project is feasible.

What are some values of Inflexion that matter to you? How do these affect the work you do?
I’m teachable, resourceful, creative and flexible. Every day at Inflexion is unique. In one moment I’m launching a new campaign or website, then co-directing a video production, then moving on to helping plan a brand awareness campaign. It’s not all glamorous, but it’s all interesting and fun. For me, anyway.

You should never be afraid to try anything new, and Inflexion supports that. I believe that you can and should learn new skills daily. Be adaptable. Be creative. Collect information and use the information to guide your decision making—data drives everything. I use all of my senses to lead projects.

If you had a superpower, what would it be and what would you do with it?
Feed everyone on the planet. Stop wars. Make everyone a diplomat.

Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best?
Every challenge I’ve encountered helped me become more flexible, resourceful and strategic. I use these skills on a daily basis at work and in my life.

Alex also does his part to make the world a better place. He doesn’t own a car, he recycles, asks questions, sparks up conversations with strangers in coffee shops (amongst other places) and supports everyone around him. He’s not just the kind of guy you want on your team, he’s the kind of guy you want as your friend.
