Let’s celebrate the launch of New Audiences for New York’s new website this month.
Presented by Theatre Development Fund (TDF), the non-profit charity that promotes the performing arts in NYC, New Audiences for New York is the latest initiative to encourage theatergoing by under-represented theatre audiences both on and off Broadway.
Our website designer provided a custom site design that reflects their iconic red-and-white branding. After all, they’re the same organization that sells you discount tickets in Time Square. Our biggest challenge was to make the site complement featured shows.
Web developers used .net to build a custom content management system (CMS). Search engine optimization, including keywords, metadata and content placement, was incorporated to ensure New Audiences for New York gains momentum through search.
The ultimate goal was to build a site that would present the cultural stories that enrich theatre experiences both on and off Broadway. In doing so, TDF has more power to reach out to new audiences about the excitement of theatergoing in New York City.
